I've owned two other Columbia jackets in the past, and both have lasted me at least two years - usually wearing out do to my active lifestyle vs. low quality materials. I thought this jacket would be the same if not better, but while it looks nice and is very warm - it's zippers are really cheap and sometimes take more than ten attempts to zip up. I like the jacket overall and am looking into just having a new zipper put on because it is really cozy and doesn't absorb bad sweaty smells like some other down jackets do. Don't expect this coat to last forever, it won't - but not a bad investment for the price.

Let me say that I really like this jacket. It is also insulated, so I have no doubt that it will keep me warm. I purchased the Columbia Benton Fleece Jacket about a month ago and I bought this jacket to be layered on top of the fleece jacket. The picture does this jacket no justice. If you want to see a more flattering picture go to the columbia website. This jacket has a very flattering fit also. I am a tall girl; 6'3" to be exact, and I love the fact that the Columbia brand runs long in the arms and torso. This is something that is very important to me because other brands (The North Face)tend to have shorter length sleeves which make me look like Herman Munster..... not sexy! This jacket is $150 everywhere else, so I suggest purchasing this jacket from amazon.com. Amazon also has super fast shipping. I ordered this Saturday evening and received it Tuesday afternoon. Happy Shopping!

I am adding a follow up to my original review. The first day I wore this jacket the high was 36 degrees and it was windy. I also spent an extended period of time outside and stayed completely comfortable the whole day. I was originally skeptical because this is not a large coat. The fact that Columbia has a lightweight, non bulky jacket that WILL keep you comfortable in inclimate weather is AWESOME! I origianlly gave this jacket a four star rating but since wearing it outside I edited my review to a five star rating. I don't even need to layer this jacket on top of my fleece. Hope this helps.

This robe is extremely soft, very pretty and very well made. As other buyers have said the presentation box is gorgeous and makes a perfect gift as soon as you get it. (although once you try it on it would be hard to give up). I really like the robe and would buy from this merchant again.

My husband bought this robe for me for my 26th birthday. I am wearing it right now, and I can honestly say it is the most beautiful and luxurious thing I have ever owned.
The quality of this robe is astounding. At first glance you can tell that so much care was put into not only the presentation(it came in a beautiful box with high quality tissue paper, which shows true pride in what this company does), stitching(unless I miss my guess, it is double stitched for the most part), and artwork(it can be called nothing less than the beautiful artwork it is).
The sizing is very generous, I am 5'4" 135lbs, and this robe fits perfectly with plenty of room without making me feel swallowed by it.
This silk robe is not the flimsy, delicate thing you might expect from a silk garment. It is the perfect weight, I can tell this is going to be perfect for both now(summer), and wintertime. Very few fabrics(if any) can compete with this robes' balance of both warmth and coolness.
All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend buying this product from TexereSilk. I cannot wait to get a scarve, shawl, or nightgown from them now. Along with the new Scarve tying guide they have out as well.

The other reviews are accurate with regard to needing reinforcements in bed slats. Plan for that (Pick up a 1 X 3") and all will work out just great! The price was right and my granddaughter made the transition to giving up her crib (taking her mattress with her) for her newborn brother with zero resistance. She considers it a "princess bed".

I debated between giving this product three stars versus four stars, but settled on four stars because of the value for the price. We paid $60 for this bed and it is very easily worth more than that. Because the toddler bed is still transitional, I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on it. I'm sure the more expensive beds (in the $200+ range) are ultimately of better quality. That said, this bed is sturdy. I often lay in the bed with my 2-year-old daughter and read her a stories (and I'm no lightweight, though by no means am I heavyset). Also, despite my pleas against it, my daughter jumps up and down on her bed pretty frequently and no problems yet--though I wouldn't encourage this conduct. It is a visually pleasing product. In terms of assembly, it took my husband three attempts because he kept putting certain pieces on the wrong sides, which resulted in having to take the entire bed apart and start again. However, he didn't read the instructions and figured he could just assemble it by sight. So, a word to the wise: read the directions. The finish on the bed appears to chip easily. This isn't a major issue because the bed isn't getting banged around in a way that would result in chipping. Not sure that this bed will be worth using when and if a second child comes along, but again since it only costs $60 can't really complain if it doesn't last years and years. Finally, we liked it enough that we bought another one for our house in upstate New York.

im am so dissapointed. we ordered our daughters bed and had it sent to our new home in another state a few months before we moved out and when we got here we opened it up and the bed is broken. huge dissapointment. its cheap and light. made from poor quality "wood" (compressed saw dust it looks like). paint isnt smooth. its grainy, like it has texture to it. wish we could send it back but since we didnt open it until we got here they wont take it. thanks amazon....for nothing. oh and they let us buy a crib for our son that wasnt even in their inventory. get it together.

Hi - After checking with our pediatrician, I used this formula with both my kids to supplement from 3 months on. We tried Similac at first and my daughter really wasn't keeping it down. Then, after much research we tried Nature's One and she loved it! Both of our kids are extremely healthy. I was concerned that it was just for toddlers at first but we compared the nutrition contents to other brands and thought Nature's One was still the best choice.

Just to clear up some confusion here is the quote from the manufacture's website:

"Baby's Only Organic� Dairy-based Toddler Formula contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and linoleic acid (LA), the fatty acid precursors for Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Arachidonic acid (ARA)."

Conversion of ALA and LA by the body to the more active longer-chain metabolites is inefficient: 2-5% for DHA. So while adding ALA to your child's diet is helpful it is not a complete substitute for the ARA and DHA found in breast milk (of course no formula can match breast milk).

If you want to use this brand of formula you should consider adding DHA and ARA some other way. This same company makes a supplement called "Baby's Only Essentials� DHA & ARA" and there are others on the market.

It's so nice that it's not filled with things that should just NOT be in formula.
No ingredients are purchased from China.
Contains no palm oil.

I also am impressed that they don't use corn syrup to sweeten their formulas. It's brown rice syrup which is a better carbohydrate than most use.

In response to no added DHA/ARA this is found on their website so it is not lacking.. and who wants DHA/ARA made by martex which is derived from laboratory-grown fermented algae and fungus and processed utilizing a toxic chemical, hexane anyway?

Baby's Only Organic� pediatric formulas contain two essential (precursor) fats: Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA) and Linoleic Acid (LA). Alpha-Linolenic and Linoleic fatty acids are called "essential" because the human body cannot make these fats and therefore it is essential to derive them from food sources. Alpha-Linolenic Acid is an omega-3 used by the body to make Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA). Linoleic Acid is an omega-6 used by the body to make Arachidonic Acid (ARA). DHA and ARA are called "non-essential" fatty acids because full-term, healthy infants, children, and adults can manufacture these from Alpha-Linolenic and Linoleic fatty acids.

Hey guys,
So we are trying to feed a new born as much breast milk as we can, however there is not enough to meet his nutritional needs.
So a formula is in order as a supplement. With that, we are interested in your toddler formula, and it appears that since this meets the FDA Infant Formula Guidelines, that it should be safe, (and opinions on the Internet seem to feel the same way). However, our doctor says that it should not be used because of the higher amounts of calcium and phosphorous. He was also concerned about using the DHA/ARA supplement with concerns about the egg white process and that the proteins in egg whites are not good for an infant. Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Dear Dave,

Thank you for contacting Nature's One�. Firstly, you are correct in that our Baby's Only Organic� formulas meet the nutritional requirements of the FDA's Infant Formula Act. No dilution is needed for babies under 12 months of age. Please follow label mixing instructions.

Regarding the calcium and phosphorous content in Baby's Only Organic� formulas, calcium is an essential nutrient needed for bone health. The American Academy of Pediatrics Expert Panel for Nutrient Levels in Infant Formula has provided recommendations on the amount of calcium with the minimum per 100 Calories being 50 milligrams and the maximum being 140 milligrams per 100 Calories. Phosphorus is another important mineral for bone health. The Expert Panel has also recommended that the calcium to phosphorus ratio in an infant formula be no less than 1.1 or more than 2.0. Baby's Only Organic� falls within these ranges with our calcium at 135 milligrams per 100 Calories and a calcium to phosphorus ratio of 1.5.

The balance between calcium and phosphorus is most important for bone development. The calcium to phosphorus ratio in both Baby's Only Organic� formula and Enfamil NextStep is 1:5. Thus, Baby's Only Organic� formulas provide an appropriate ratio of calcium and phosphorus for toddlers and an appropriate overall quantity of calcium and phosphorus.

Regarding our Baby's Only Essentials� DHA/ARA supplement, The DHA utilized in our Baby's Only Essentials� DHA & ARA supplement is sourced from egg yolk phospholipids. You are probably aware that most often an egg allergy is caused by the egg white rather than the yolk. Additionally, it is the protein component of foods that usually elicit an allergic reaction. Because we use the phospholipids (not protein) from the egg yolk, there is only a very minute chance that an allergic response will ensue.

If your child has a history of allergies, we highly recommend that you consult your child's healthcare provider.

DHA is also found naturally in other foods, including oily fish like trout, sardines, tuna and salmon and the yolk of eggs. Dietary ARA is available from animal meats, dairy foods, eggs, peanuts and nori seaweed. As your child increases the variety of foods in her diet, you can include some of these foods in her diet. Other natural sources of DHA would include fish oil or fish oil supplements. Unfortunately, it is difficult to insure that these are free from mercury or other environmental toxins. But, also remember that these fatty acids can be formed from dietary linoleic and linolenic acids (nuts, seeds, grains legumes, vegetables and their cold-pressed oils). By including good sources of high quality fats in the diet, your child will easily be able to meet her specific needs

Most egg allergies are a result of ingestion of egg white; egg yolk allergies are rare.

Proteins are the component of foods that cause allergic reactions. Egg allergy is usually due to the proteins in the egg white. These protein allergens are: ovomucoid, ovalbumin, ovotransferrin; lysozyme, and ovomucin.

However, there can be a rare situation of egg yolk allergy. The literature to date usually associates egg yolk allergy to a reaction triggered by inhaled bird allergen, referred to as Bird-egg syndrome. This is a very rare syndrome.

Egg allergy can also be seasonal. Oak pollen, short and western ragweed and the goosefoot family of weeds may cross react with eggs when these pollens are in season.

The estimated point prevalence of egg allergy in children is 1.6% by 2.5 years of age. (1) Again, egg white is usually the cause of an egg allergy. Most children outgrow an allergy to eggs by 5 years of age.

My son is 4 1/2 months old and is the most picky eater, I've tried many other formulas with no luck. This is the only one he likes. It seems to give him less gas too. I like the fact that it has more vitamins than most other formulas, except for the DHA, but I supplement the DHA by giving him 1/2 teaspoon every day in his bottle of pharmaceutical cod liver oil that contains no mercury. I use Nordic Children's DHA, and he doesn't seem to notice it's in his bottle.

the problem is: the powder is hard to dissolve on water...
when mixing, shaking the formula, it creates a lot of bubbles

This is the best formula ever. be careful using it in infants under year. they can react to the brown rice syrup. My daughter had a mild reaction so I kept using the Carnation Good Start Purple can without the harmful DHA additive and then at 11 months switched her to this organic formula and it was a total success. We have chosen to keep her on it until 2 since she is soooo healthy and is never sick. I buy it direct from the vendor but saw the review here and had to share! You will be so happy with this baby milk. So easy to use and if you call the vendor directly they will mail you scoopers! Sooo convenient.

Hi - After checking with our pediatrician, I used this formula with both my kids to supplement from 3 months on. We tried Similac at first and my daughter really wasn't keeping it down. Then, after much research we tried Nature's One and she loved it! Both of our kids are extremely healthy. I was concerned that it was just for toddlers at first but we compared the nutrition contents to other brands and thought Nature's One was still the best choice.
