This is a really difficult review. I have purchased this belt three different times (i.e. had to replace it that many times). You should be asking "why the heck did you replace it, particularly after it broke the second time?". Because I love the design of the belt (i.e. the look, feel, and---while it's working---the functionality). From the moment the first one arrived, I was in love with this belt. It is nice and wide (but not too wide), the buckle is nice and solid, and the "reverse" mechanism is nice and strong and really clicks into place. The problem? The stitching eventually comes apart near the buckle and the leather eventually tears and the buckle detaches. End of usefulness. Since I feel most people won't want a belt they have to replace every year, I gave this three stars. It's still the best belt I have ever worn...until it breaks. Ergo the difficulty deciding how to review this product. Call it a near miss at perfection...

While the belt is attractive looking it is poorly made. I have purchased 2 and both broke within 3 weeks. The buckle is attached with 2 pins that are within 1/16" of the edge and pull out easily.
